Bipperlisi<\/em> is a sound-installation inside a public train connecting Solothurn with Langenthal in Switzerland.<\/p>\n

For this commission by the Kuratorium Solothurn<\/a> we synchronized music specially composed for this occasion to the scenery rushing past outside the windows of the train using a GPS-like positioning device present in the train. Using the positioning device we could use the trains position much like the position of a needle on a record to control the playback of the music by the trains position and speed.<\/p>\n

Bipperlisi<\/em> was running from July to end of August 2008.<\/p>\n
